Top 3 Calorie Trackers

Counting calories isn’t an easy task. Keeping track of all the numbers can be difficult. Luck for you, however some app developers made calorie trackers that get the job done. I’ve listed my top 3 calorie trackers below.

MyFitnessPal

This is the current calorie tracker that I’ve been using as it allows you to add snacks and water in addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also gives you the option to add if you’re wanting to maintain or gain weight, which is awesome as it shows how many calories you need daily to reach those goals. Also, if you fall off and forget to submit your calories for the day you’ll receive a notification as a reminder.

Fitbit

Fitbit devices keep track of your activity throughout the day, which is great because you can gage where your fitness level is day by day. Your tracker’s calorie count will reset each night at midnight and begin counting immediately thereafter. BMR (basal metabolic rate)  is the reason your tracker starts the day with calories already burned—you’ve still burned calories even if you haven’t gotten out of bed yet.

Lose It!

What stands out the most about this calorie tracker app is that you can just scan the barcode of the food you eat and the information will be recorded. Another cool option is that you can just snap a picture of the food you eat, too. This makes process of recording calories so easy. Try it out, you’ll love it!
