How to Lose your Stomach Pooch

There’s nothing worse than preparing for a night out with the girls and the dress you just bought leaves you looking like a teletubbie. You then have to spend the night sucking in your stomach for dear life when you take pictures for IG or Snapchat (can someone say annoyed?πŸ™„).

Have no fear, however, as you’re in the right place for the perfect fix to your stomach pooch.

DISCLAIMER: These fixes will not happen in the span of 24 hours because let’s be real if you had a pooch when you tried the dress on you shouldn’t have purchased it in the first place. However, THESE FIXES CAN HELP YOU LOSE YOUR STOMACH POOCH OVER A SPAN OF TIME as long as you put the work inπŸ’πŸ½

Calorie Intake,Β Exercise

By reducing your calorie intake and increasing the amount that you exercise, you can create a caloric deficit in the body, which will make you lose weight. There are plenty of calorie trackers that allow you to input your goal weight and will let you know how many calories you need to achieve that goal. Furthermore, by reducing your normal, needed diet by 250 calories per day and burning an additional 250 calories per day, you may lose 1 lb. per week — these exact figures may vary depending on activity level, weight and daily calorie intake.

Change Workout Regime

The generic jumping jacks and walking on the treadmill for 45 minutes is not enough to get rid of your stomach pooch. You should be sweating and having a need for water from your workouts as they should be intense based on your fitness level. Incorporate more cardio and weight-training exercises into your workouts. Cut out Bad Habits

Drinking alcohol every weekend and then eating fast food late in the night are not only detrimental to your health, but it’s a bad habit that can creep into your social life. Have “FUN” in moderation. The clubs, bars, etc will always be there. Most importantly, make sure you’re getting enough sleep because even as an adult you need 7-9 hours of sleep.

I’ve asked some of my friendsπŸ‘Β to chime in on how they ensure that their stomach pooch is a “no show” when they wear fitted dresses, tops or swimsuits.
